The fix is taking all abilities of any player you have figured it out myself today!
I started playing the game this morning as I favourited a handful of defensive plays. After a couple of games I started to get massive freezes and lag on defence every time when selecting a play. That is when I realised that according to the game I have favourited over 22 thousand plays. In reality, the game has just created thousands of copies of the 8ish plays I had favourited and duplicated them in the favourite play section. It seems the only way to fix this is to un-add each of the 22-thousand plays individually.......

i was able to play one game online of ultimate team h2h then after my second one i think it was a desync and now every time i go to play it says :ea is still processing your previous game please wait and refresh to try again:" then it loads me into an online game and right as i pick the kickoff play it crashes and gives me error code CE-108255-1 . i also when loading the game i am repeatedly given the option to purchase the team pass which i already have accidently done due to this issue, it still does not recognize it.
My team pass that i also accidemtly purchased thru the process of being dashboarded 50 something times, doesnt even recognize as purchased it makes me select a team several times and doesnt remember.
