Twitch Drop Not Received
Electronic Arts (EA) promoted a Twitch Drop event for Madden NFL 26 on Xbox, in which viewers who watched a specified duration of an EA-sponsored Twitch stream and claimed the reward would receive in-game packs. I complied with all published requirements, yet EA has failed to deliver the promised items.
Details:
Prior to the promotion, my Twitch and EA accounts were properly linked.
I watched the required stream duration in full.
I successfully claimed the packs on Twitch, and my Twitch inventory reflects this (proof of claim available).
Despite meeting every condition and presenting proof of claim, the packs were never delivered to my EA account for Madden NFL 26 on Xbox.
Following this failure, I opened a formal case with EA Help (Case #222435701). In my communications with EA’s support team, I provided screenshots demonstrating that the packs were claimed on Twitch. Nevertheless, EA’s support staff repeatedly closed the issue with generic responses and failed to provide:
Any proof or evidence that I did not meet the requirements, and
Any detailed explanation of why the packs were not delivered.
Instead, I received only boilerplate replies from outsourced agents, with no escalation to a supervisor or specialist team. This constitutes:
Failure to honor a promotional offer that EA advertised as guaranteed upon fulfillment of conditions.
Potential false advertising, as consumers were induced to participate in the promotion under specific terms that were not honored.
Failure of customer support escalation, where EA refused to provide a meaningful investigation or resolution.
Resolution Requested:
I am requesting fulfillment of the promised Twitch Drop packs to my EA account for Madden NFL 26 on Xbox. If fulfillment is not possible, I request equivalent compensation in a form agreed upon by both parties.
