I have a disc copy of Madden 16. With my profile signed in and linked to origin I have tried opening ports, clearing PS4 cache, deleting and reinstalling install and patch files to no avail. I consistently get the message "Attention: In order to access the online features for this title your Sony Entertainment Network account must be signed in and you must be signed in to the EA servers."The first time an EA Advisor contacted me, we tried restoring licenses, rebuilding the database and that didn't work. I was then told to try a friends account on my console and if the account worked to contact EA again but if it didn't to contact Sony. When I tried my friends account on my console, my friends account was able to get online and get into an online game. The second time an EA Advisor contacted me, I gave them the previous information regarding my friends account working and I was put on hold while they contacted tech support. After 10 minutes I was either accidentally hung up on or mis transferred. So then I was sent an email asking me to run a UOTrace.After getting the information, I attempted to get in touch with an EA Advisor a third time. Apparently the Advisor either called the wrong number or didn't call at all because I received an email stating they tried to contact me. No voicemail was left which I find strange because EA Advisors usually leave voicemails.With all that I decided to put my issue here as well. I have had this game since Day 1 and have not been to connect online at all. I have throughly researched online through endless forums with possible solutions and none have worked. Is there any possible solution to my issue? Thanks!

Update on my issue:It has now been 2 weeks (Day 1 purchase) and I still can not sign into EA servers.An EA advisor contacted me a 4th time, I explained my issue once again and mentioned all the potential fixes I have tried. The Advisor wanted me to try to restore my licenses again, I did and failed. I was then put on hold while the Advisor consulted a specialist, and when he came back the Advisor said my issue will be escalated "as there is no known solution right now."The Specialist emailed me two days ago asking me to setup a static IP. Once again I had to spend more time explaining that I have done this already and it didn't work. But just to be thorough I tried again and of course it didn't work. I have not received a second response yet.This situation needs to be resolved soon as right now I am at my wits end and I am prepared to ask for a full refund for a game that does not work.

Update on my issue:It has now been 3 weeks since I have been unable to sign into EA servers.I still have not received a second response from the EA Specialist since last emailing them on September 7th.There has been an Content Update to the game and EA server maintenance since I was last contacted by EA. Neither have fixed my issue. I also tried the FIFA 16 Demo and was unable to get on the EA servers on that title as well.As a longtime Madden player and regular buyer EA products I'm fully disappointed that an issue this severe has not been fixed.Since there has been no transparency by EA on whether the issue is being worked on, I will be formally requesting a refund in the coming days.Thanks.

Hey, while I don't know if you still have this issue or not, I just recently had it, tried everything they have said and nothing.But by using some of my own knowledge I logged into my router, I have a Comcast wifi box so I just logged into that. Then changed my wifi security from typical to low. Somehow the typical security was blocking ports from EA, now I'm able to play again! Hope this helps

I'm also having the same problem. I've contacted multiple EA advisors tried multiple different fixes and none have worked. I've run the UStrace to the EA server and the connection was so poor it seems like EA doesn't try to connect me at all. Whenever I explain my problem to them and how none of the "fixes" work they always refer to my internet connection as being weak, but that can't be the case at all being that I play GTA online, Destiny online and even NBA 2K15 online and none of those seems to ever have a problem... just the EA games. It sucks to have a mostly online game and not be able to get online AT ALL, while watching all of your friends play on all of the different online modes. This has been the same error I've been getting since the Madden 25 video game and each year I can never get online. I've had Madden 25, Madden 15, and now Madden 16 and have not a single time played ANY online modes. Never knowing what it's like to play a connected franchise game, nor any online head to head games, nor any Madden Ultimate Team games. Just the sucky and boring play now exhibitions and the ever too tired offline franchise mode. With all that being said, and considering the fact I'm constantly penalized by this same video game company each year, I feel I'm within all grounds to request a complete refund for my purchase of Madden 16 and would like to know how and where I could do this.

Update on my issue:

Update:
I am a month in and there still no word from EA on how to fix my issue of not being able to connect to the EA servers. I replied again to the Specialist team Sept. 18th and have not received any answer back yet.
I understand that there is nothing wrong with EA servers but there is something wrong with EA servers either failing to recognize that I am online or failing to recognize I have an origin account that is connected to my PlayStation 4 Online ID.
It can not be a Sony issue with my Online ID because if it was I would not be able to play other multiplayer titles. If it is a Sony issue they have a weird way of telling me not to play EA games anymore. It can not be a network issue as I tried my friends account on my console, on my network and it had no problems connecting online.
This needs to be addressed quickly.

I am not on a college or university campus. My network NAT type is 2 - Moderate. There is no restrictions on my network.
I have tried a friends profile on my console using my home network and my friends profile is able to connect to EA server correctly.
I am getting a feeling it has to do with my Origin profile, as I am not able to log into any EA title.

After a busy month at work I was able to contacted customer support again. They checked my profile and said everything is OK. They again tried to say it was my connection.
1. The agent first told me it was my ISP and I should contact the ISP to fix it.
Two of my friends accounts are able to connect to EA Servers when using my PS4 on my network
When transferring my PSN account to my friends consoles using their networks, I am still unable to connect to EA Servers.
The above statements are enough to say my ISP is not the problem. My two friends have different ISPs than mine and I still can't connect
2. The agent then said there was an issue with the device(PS4)

3. Then agent then stated their was an issue with my PSN account
This has been brought up before but why would Sony allow me to play every other game online except EA games. This only happens when attempting to play an EA games, signing into EA servers.
After a 3 hour conversation with the agent they told me that since I have an open case with a Specialist Team member that I should wait for the Specialist Team "hopefully to get back to me soon". When the Specialist Team emailed me almost 2 months ago, I gave them the requested information they needed and haven't heard back.
It has now been 3 months since this issue has been present with no hope of a solution.
