Game Freezes at Title Screen/Menu

Product: Madden NFL 20
Platform:Sony Playstation 4
Which console generation do you have? PlayStation 4
What is your gamertag/PSN ID? shadowmaru_br
Date/time issue occurred Jul 25
What type of issue do you have? Crash/Freeze
Which mode has this happened in? Play Now
Summarize your bug I started the trial on PS4 and was able to play the Pro Bowl before game fully loaded. But when it was complete (and after patch 1.04) it is stuck on the loading screen (Showtime). Already closed the app and restarted the PS4, no luck.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Download the trial, patch to version 1.04 Start the game
What happens when the bug occurs? Game freezes at progress bar near the end (it says Showtime!) but it never completes loading. I've waited the duration of 2 full game intros.
What do you expect to see? the main menu

    Finally got help for me changing DNS to googles DNS fixed it

    Thanks for getting back! I've seen players fix menu freezing for various games when they change up their DNS setting on the console. You said you tried that, did you try different DNS servers or only a specific one?


    There are steps on how to do it here and it can also be manually changed on the console.

    I tried the default one that just comes with the PS4 and then I started to do research because my game would not load and people were saying when they switched theirs to google it started working. So that's the only one that I have tried is googles.

    this game is garbage, i dont get the screen freezing anymore on the opening credits but now everytime i try to play it goes to the blue screen saying error. again started doing this after i made the mistake of updating the game.

    Thank you for your patience. Try giving Cloudflare's DNS servers a try. It's 1.1.1.1

    Is this the primary or secondary DNS and what would the other one be since that is one of them?

    I have a Xbox one and I got madden 20 by every time I launch the game it always stops loading at showtime, I haven’t even got to play yet and it’s vey aggravating.  Do you have any idea how to fix it?

    That did not work either. Bro Im telling you nothing isn't working. No knock on y'all but I think this copy has to be defective or something.
