No change in issue after 24 hrs. Reinstalled EA APP, changed password, tried logging in via email, ID and phone
After 30 plus hrs, finally was able to log in. Problem is back after 24 hrs.
- @66mac Did u find any solution? I just bought BFV and I haven't been able to play because I can't log in. I've tried everything I've found and I just can't.
No solution. Reinstalled EA app, and changed the password. After 2-plus days it appears is just fixed itself. That lasted for a day and since Sunday am unable to log in again. No help from EA support that I've found when this was brought before.

Hi @66mac To check can you try the following once you have a moment, if you have not so far?
- EA App's Cache (Top Left Menu > Help > App Recovery)
- Run the System File Checker tool then Check for Windows and GPU updates
- Guide for Troubleshooting Graphics issues
- Connection and Advance Connection Guides
- Untick the options in LAN Settings (make sure nothing is checked under Proxy Server)
- Change DNS settings (You can use the public google DNS primary: 8.8.8.8, secondary: 8.8.4.4, unless there is a different DNS you would rather use)
Update; So attempted to log in EA App for about 5 hrs of no attempts. I was able to log in however got the error msg, "Games fail to launch" Decided to follow these steps from support:
- EA App's Cache (Top Left Menu > Help > App Recovery) You are only able to do this when logged into the app. So as a workaround, I started an uninstall process via Revo Uninstaller. In this process, the program uninstaller starts first. So when EA popped up I selected "Repair" first. The app attempted to go through the process but eventually posted a crash report. So I did a total uninstall using REVO and then reinstalled a fresh app.
- Run the System File Checker tool then Check for Windows and GPU updates. Did both of these. The system file checker found some corrupt files and repaired them. Takes some time.
- Guide for Troubleshooting Graphics issues Reviewed, no issues.
- Connection and Advance Connection Guides Reviewed, no issues.
- Untick the options in LAN Settings (make sure nothing is checked under Proxy Server) Nothing was checked so no issues here.
- Change DNS settings (You can use the public google DNS primary: 8.8.8.8, secondary: 8.8.4.4, unless there is a different DNS you would rather use) Changed the DNS setting for IPV4 and IPV6 using Cloudflare.
The end result of the above is that I can now log in as of Mon pm to EA and play either M22 or M23. However last week after doing some troubleshooting I was able to log in and play a couple of games and then the problem came up again. Time will tell.

HI @66mac Thanks for these updates, if you are still running into issues signing into the EA App (or subsequently playing a game) can you respond to the following?
- Are you currently (as of my reply) able to sign into the EA App?
- How interment has this been since it last worked?
- After using Revo, and getting a fresh client install were you able to sign in? How long did it continue to work after?
- What type of network are you using to connect EA App and your game?
- Can we get a DxDiag?
I just started to have this issue. I logged in maybe 5 min before it started happening. But I closed the app to refresh for the new sims 4 updates. Now it refuses to work. it logged me in but then none of my games showed up. I restarted it and currently, it's not working again.
I currently just starting having this issue, I logged out to reset my EA app, tried to log in and now I get the error message. I'm assuming it's because of the sims update, maybe it's overloaded.
