MUT Unable to Process Request...

Platform:Sony Playstation 4

Summarize your bug I am stuck at my main menu screen. Cannot even get into the mut menu screen. I click on MUT at the main menu and it begins to load, but then I receive a message saying EA is unable to process request at this time. Have shut off console and internet to try again, but nothing has worked so far.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? On Main Menu screen try to open MUT and it will not load.
What happens when the bug occurs? I receive "unable to process request" message and get sent back to main menu.
What do you expect to see? I would like to have my MUT game mode load properly.

  • Mine has not been working for nearly 24 Hours i keep on getting an Error Message and my WIFI connection is fine on everything else

    Are you both seeing this same "Unable to Process Request" error? Also, which system are you playing on? The Madden 20 servers are currently up and running, so if you're unable to connect there's got to be something interfering with the connection to MUT. 

    We might be able to try some additional steps that could get you back online.

  • Hey Kent,

    Im on PlayStation and my connection speeds are fine yet my game takes over 5 minutes to load and I receive the unable to process message everytime I go onto mut

    Thanks! The speed of the connection can definitely be a factor when it comes to connection issues, but there are some other things we'll need to try troubleshooting as well. First, I'd recommend starting off with the basic connection troubleshooting steps over at the EA Help website. That's a good place to begin with issues like this. 

    If you're still having trouble connecting after that please try the PS4-specific steps as well. Let me know if you're still having any trouble afterward.

  • @EA_Kent I have tried nearly everything on the list and it still won't work. I thought that the new update this morning would fix it. It did work when I first logged on, then I got booted off and it hasn't worked since.

    Thanks for giving it a shot. Would you be able to try changing your PS4 to a different DNS server to see if that helps? I've seen cases where using a different DNS such as the public Google DNS has helped with issues like this. To update the DNS settings on your console follow the steps below: 

    1. Open up the Settings on your PS4, then got o Network. From there go to Set Up Internet Connection, and select either wifi or LAN cable depending on what you're using.

    2. Select Custom > IP Address Settings (Automatic) > DHCP Host Name (Do Not Use) > DNS Settings (Manual)

    3. Enter the Primary DNS as 8.8.8.8 and the secondary DNS as 8.8.4.4 -- This is the public Google DNS.

    4. Select Next > MTU Settings (Automatic) > Proxy Server (Do Not Use) > Test Internet Connection

    Let me know if you're still unable to get connected after that.

  • EA Kent,

    I'm on PS4 I can log on to Super Star Ko fine just not Ultimate Team . Had finds log in on there accounts on my PS4 work fine. Opened ports did everything I can. Not my.connection.  been almost six weeks. EA is not helping . Any input would be appreciated.  Thanks Jim

    It looks like you had a case escalated up to the Madden team when you were speaking with EA Help via email. This appears to be something they'll need to investigate from their side. You'll get an update via email as soon as possible once they've been able to finish up the investigation.
