Sons account wont connect MUT

I submitted a bug report to EA  #64476983. The security model in other EA games works fine.

If memory serves correct, I had to login to those with his Origin account.  I surmise Madden 21 is trying to link EA and PS4 accounts by email address without giving a login option.  Origin child accounts do not have an email address.

How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Create an origin minor account and log into Madden 20 or another EA game with it (no issues). Then try to go into Madden 21. Main game menu launches, but every game mode fails to launch stating you must be logged into ps4 and EA servers.
What happens when the bug occurs? cannot launch ANY game modes.
What do you expect to see? Launch game modes same as in madden 20

Tried again and still no luck.  Looks like that is a different issue altogether.   The issue here is with MINOR accounts.  I can play fine, but my sons who have MINOR Origin accounts cannot.  As you can see from the thread, others are having the same issue with MINOR accounts.

Yeah I just created another psn account for mine still used his ea account and it works so its def on playstations end although they won't admit it 

That won't work for my son since he pays for ps+.  Every other EA game works, and Madden 21 is brand new, so I don't believe the issue is on PS4's side.

As a customer, EA needs to make sure their product works on whatever platform they are selling it on.

Spoke to tech support.  They say it is happening for just some users and not all users.  They have been looking into the issue today.  No idea of when a fix would be in place, but the more reports, the higher the priority will be.

Hey @bmloder8 - so what you did was, create a new PSN ID in your family for your son...but sign in with his normal EA account...and everything worked okay?

My wife doesn't play any EA games, and is obviously an adult, so I wonder what would happen if I signed in under *her* PSN account but put in his EA account.

Yeah basically what I did worked fine 

Hmm...I wonder if he'd get the perks he's supposed to get for buying the MVP edition.
