Network timeout

Arrrggghhhhh, how many network issues today? Only every time I play, it’s an absolute joke EA, SORT your network out!

  • My second in command is close to quitting because 3 straight lvls he has dropped a drive because of these unexpected and unexplained game crashes. I tried to log in on my lunch hour today and couldn't even log on because everytime I did the game would network time out so I quit trying.
  • Yup, timeouts, unexpected errors, only during an overdrive match or lvl round. EA must truly dislike their regular players. What, is USAA not paying you enough? Snickers bail out of their contract? Skittles doesn't want anymore advertising through this game, and game keeps getting worse. Advertisers are walking, and so should we.

  • Barry, although I appreciate your reply on this, that couldn't have been the issue. This has not stopped for weeks. Read previous posts about timeout and network issues. This has been an ongoing problem for alot of us here. You cannot say to us this issue has been resolved, while we have been dealing with it the whole time. Do you even play the game?

    Network timeouts have been a big problem since day one. But the unexpected and unexplained game crashes in the middle of lvl that you cannot resume and in the middle of overdrive causing you to lose is new and has been happening since the start of Madden feast. And have not been resolved yet. It just happened to me in overdrive again this morning.
  • Yea @EA_Barry you cannot be serious about that just being "a short term dip in connectivity". Right? In one weekend alone, from Friday evening to Monday morning I had well over 150+ network timeouts alone and I took, at the very least, 137 screenshots. Of course I made a post about it. I even started getting a little dizzy and crossed eyed trying to post all of those screenshots of the exact same yellow screen over and over so, I just took a screenshot of the folder details instead. I, personally, have been through 2 different providers this season, to no avail, and still have continuous issues and problems with ea's network. To be clear, it is NOT our phones, providers, connections, networks etc on our end. This is definitely on ea's end. I've had problems with the network even when I was by someone's house with a great network and connection and great service all but, literally, sitting on top of the router. His job and livelihood depends on an internet connection, needless to say, it was a great connection and network. Ea's network has always been a problem and it costs us everything from events to games, rewards and any and everything else in between.

    @el_dude66 

    Have you tried switching to mobile data (if possible) or switched to a different WiFi channel if your router has it? Some routers have 2.4Ghz and 5.0Ghz. I was able to avoid network timeouts once I switched to 2.4.

    We have some additional steps below that are worth a try. If you synced up to your account to Facebook/Apple/Google your progress will be preserved when you try re-installing the app.

    The issue of s only on mobile data. I tried reinstalling to no positive effect. Issue remained
