I have recently bought Mass effect Trilogy on Amazon. Then I downloaded Mass effect 3, and I was trying to join my friend's lobby, but it shows up that I didn't own the game that my friend is playing, but that's not true, by the way I have bought all the DLCs that my friends did. So could you please tell me why I can't join my friend's lobby? Thank you.
Which platform?
Have you both shared your friend ID's with eachother and are in friends list? (Different for Origin, PSN, and XBOX Live)
Did you redeem the Online Pass to gain access to Multiplayer? (New copies come with the code, used might not and you have to get a new code from the store for that platform)
By contacting an EA Game Advisor, you can get help with your Online Pass if you should already have one.

I do have my cd key with me. Is that the online pass you are talking about?
