@delena665 Advanced Training is available on the Normandy as well, under the Prototypes section.
It has different choices depending on your loyal squadmates - when you do a loyalty mission, you unlock your squadmate's third active ability both for them (instantly) and for Shepard (only one can be selected at a time through AT, but can be switched out later to a different one).

@felker_s strange, I'd done all loyalty missions (and assigned points to all "loyalty" powers of my squadmates) but my choices never expanded beyond Slam... I'll go back to ME2 after suicide mission save and try Advance training again just to confirm.
But regardless of the power I got, shouldn't it have transferred to my ME3 character?

- @delena665 As far as I remember, ME3 has a different system in place for extra powers... But it has been a long time since I've played it.
I'm sure it does not transfer from ME2 though.
