The endings of Mass Effect should have teach them a lesson. You cant end 3 games, which sold millions of copies and engaged tons of fans all over the world, with a cop out choice red blue or green in the last ten minutes.
I remeber very well those days, when they called people a vocal minority or "entitled whiners".
It was the beginning of their downfall.
They should have engaged with fans even MORE after the ending, to listen and avoid to make other gross mistakes.
But they choose the route of silence, and the sales of Andromeda are not good compared to the other chapters.
So whatever their strategy is now, it is NOT working.
They better change behaviour if they don't want to lose what remains of their community.
Otherwise they will be remembered as the devs who transformed Mass Effect into No Man's Sky.
