They have announced that they are working on the next Mass Effect, to be set in Milky Way by all reports. Google trailers and such for new ME and you should be able to see a few release pictures and such for it.
Yes, they're very busy hiring new staff for the next game. It's still a long ways out, though. It's not like in the old days where they could pop out three Mass Effect games in a single console generation. We should place bets on what comes out sooner: new Mass Effect or new Witcher.
Dragon Age 4 comes out first. We should have more info on that this year. After that, keep your eyes and ears open for Mass Effect news.
Just don't do the devs like you did with with ME3 into DA:Inquisition where they didn't even get a chance to catch their breath. We don't care if it takes years to get a quality product, we want one that does the story justice and not some last minute RGB ending that all basically have the identical outcomes and requires a entire dlc to still be sort of meh at best.
ME5 is still several years off...
