ASUS D2X NO Surround Sound

So, I'm basicly going insane trying the whole Day to get Surround Sound for this Game.
Now, I've tried everything I could find on the Net e.g.. Deleting BIOengine.ini, Deleting after AudioDevice=, Config Tool(which sometimes saves Hardware and sometimes doesn't), deleting OpenAL, etc. And of course Disabling all other Devices in the Control Panel. And no matter what I do there is absolute no Change whatsoever, still only get stereo and Log files always says Generic Software. NOW, the funny thing, I've used the card in the first week with an optical cable, after switching to a 6ch Direct one. And I played ME1 with the optical cable in Surround, but after switching to Direct; ONLY ME1 will not have surround sound. I even tried switching back to optical for that Game, but its like it never happened, and the Game only got Stereo.
PLEASE Help meeeee

  • The audio engine on PC is absolutely horrible. I think the game only support Creative SoundBlasters. Anything else, and surround sound is unlikely.

    Surround sound works on my setup (SoundBlaster Xtreme Audio). This is what I have in the BioEngine.ini:

    [ISACTAudio.ISACTAudioDevice]
    MaxChannels=128
    TimeBetweenHWUpdates=15.000000
    MinOggVorbisDurationGame=20
    MinOggVorbisDurationEditor=4
    TotalAvailableChannels=128
    DeviceName=
    UseEffectsProcessing=True
    ReserveChannels=2
