Anyone notice that the races the benefactor used? Because I only remember krogen, turian, asari, human, and salarian.
In ME3 you can get a picture of Tali so you know what a quarian looks like. I...
Could be numbers 2-7 (Jien Garsen being number 1 and Tann being 8), if Garsen's murder could be covered up and claim it was caused by the scourge, who knows if 2 to 7 really died... (Wild speculation here...I havent read the novel so this is pure speculation...)
Not what I personally meant, but right now anything is possible... well a lot is possible. Tann, last of the Benefactor. Interesting possibility and another possible reason to hate him. Not sure we needed more, haha.

I'm pretty sure the scourge appeared around 2 centuries after the arks left the milky way. It's stated several times from multiple sources. So I kind of have to doubt the scourge factored into anyone's plans regarding the initiative.

Think closer to 500-600 years ago is mentioned for when the Scourge hit, IIRC.
Of course, I'm almost positive that the Angarians are the modern descendents of the Jardaan. You find an Angarian pilot in a Remnant starship on Havaril, but they called it an Angarian ship. And I think that all of the clones found at the Meridian starship aren't necessarily them creating a new race per se, but them bio-forming themselves to survive better in the Helios cluster.

Thats unlikely because when you scan the firsr remnant building, Ryder specifically says its around 3 to 400 yrs old and the scourge came after.
So from their first scans - say around 640 years ago give or take. It takea them around 635yrs to get to andromeda.
The first 200 yrs after the scans - the Jardaan evolve. Sometime after they create the angara. Then sometime after that the scourge appears.
In my current pt im taking more note of the timing of everything. Still at the begining though and also bioware has been known to mess up timelines. Should be interesting but I need this stuff for fics.

I said around 2 centuries, I guess i should have said at least 2. Was half asleep at the time.

jaal does put the scourge "event" five hundred years before the current date, but that actually makes no sense, given the timeline we have. no sense at all, so it has to be an off handed comment that's not ment to be strictly accurate. otherwise 500 years just doesn't fit.

I honestly thought that the discovering of the angaran pods on the meridian, "relay" (I guess), was the hint hint that the angarans are the jardaan. And yes not to mention the starship on harvaril is a remenant starship. Or at least looks pretty much the same, so once again hint hint. And also that the only vault that was fully operational was the one on Aya, and harvaril being the angarans "place of birth" is the only world with a fairly completed remenat city. Or at least it looked like a city to me.
And I'm speculating, but I'm rather positive the scourge is the liquid that powers the vaults. So the scourge is more than likely from meridian when it was attacked and retreated. Leaving a trail of it's fuel.
Oh and the scourge couldn't of been in Andromeda before the initiative left because Cora says "your father had every planet memorize(referring to the planets that are a letter and some #'s)". So they were looking at Andromeda through the Geth telescope to reduce the "lag" from 20million light-years to I think they said a thousand light-years, and identify the golden worlds. So either Alec saw the scourge before it destroyed the worlds and decide it was nothing or it wasn't there.
