Biotic and Tech Squad Strength Colour Switch- Stylistic or Bug?

I felt like I was going crazy but in the original Mass Effect, purple was tech strength and blue was biotic- I can understand why given in 2 and 3, purple is barriers (biotic) and blue is shield (tech) but it surprised me.&nbsp;

There were several steps to sync up aesthetics between the games. While it's been long enough that I honestly don't remember the colors in the OG Mass Effect, this is exactly the sort of thing that would be changed for this edition of the game.&nbsp;
