I noticed this too on insanity (on Xbox).

The gave wasn't offering the opportunity to save, so I was very careful.

Sadly I was taken out by a Krogan during the final fight.

Thankfully, the game did drop an auto-save before the final battle which I was pleased to rely upon. 😉

@SofaJockeyUK Well that's reassuring...that YMIR plus multiple Krogan flanking you at once can get pretty hairy! Over my dozen or so playthroughs I have died in that room way too many times.
