[BUG] ME1 Framerate drop after killing docile salarians on Virmire

When killing the docile salarians in their cell on Virmire, the framerate is reduced to an unplayable level. Saving and reloading doesn't fix it. Shutting down the game and resuming also doesn't work...

I also had this issue after killing the docile Salarian's. My framerate drops to 6 FPS. I've also run into the same problem after killing DR Saleon during Garrus' loyalty Mission. It doesn't matter if Shepard kills him or Garrus, my framerate drops to 25 frames per second.

I have an AMD Ryzen 7 3700X. NVIDIA Geforce RTX 2060 Super. 16GB DDR4.

EDIT. Small update. Going back to the Normandy after killing Dr Saleon caused the frame rate issue to solve it's self.

    Yep, I had the bug in the Dr. Saleon mission as well and returning to the Normandy did indeed fix it.

    I hope they fix it soon, because on Virmire, it essentially locks you out of making a certain choice, which is not really desirable in an RPG.
