Bug Report: Ending Audio out of synch

Hey all, did anyone else notice that when viewing the destroy ending in Mass Effect 3, when it cuts to the rubble and then Shepard’s chest, the music starts a good 4-5 seconds too late and this the musical crescendo is out of synch when Shepard takes a breath? So basically you can almost not hear the breath over the music which normally had cut away by that point. It totally made my last moment with the legendary edition very jarring and frustrating almost. I managed to tell someone on EA help’s twitter page and despite providing evidence, they said they need 3-4 cases in here before they could pass along the info to the dev team.

Skip to 43:22 to see what I mean. The music should start at 43:25 but doesn't start till 43:31 and those few seconds make the difference.

  • This is the only remaining bug that still genuinely bothers me. There are countless examples in YouTube videos; any video you look up of the highest Destroy ending of ME3 (Legendary Edition) the music audio is out of sync.

It’s one of the most important little moments in the trilogy for some people, and the very last thing anyone sees before the credits roll. It deserves to be fixed, and it should be an easy fix by the dev team.

I created a bug report about this very topic last year.

This and the botched opening scene of ME2 really bug me. I'm afraid no more bug fixes are coming, though. It's been too long.

@Fred_vdp What happens in the Mass Effect 2 intro?

@TheStuartCarson It always assumes you didn't import a save file and will use the altered scene that was edited for the PS3 release. Your choices aren't acknowledged in dialog. It cuts a line from Miranda, and one of the Illusive Man's lines is awkwardly replaced by a less fitting one that's also used a bit later in the game.
