Bug Task The ghost of Promise

What edition do you have? Deluxe Edition

Summarize your bug Bug Task: The ghost of Promise. Cannot scan Ana Carrell's cache.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
How long has this issue been happening? I don't know

After going to the nav point and entering the location after interacting with the cache with "Y", SAM tells a scan is necessary but the object shows as scanned and there is nothing to scan so the task cannot be completed.

Leaving and re-entering the area resets the object (can be interacted with again) but the same bug occurs as described.

    The Datapad is on the side of the elecator.

    I had the problem too. After I have reloaded the Planet, it worked.

    Same problem. Even leaving the planet and coming back some time later, that seems to fix some other bugs did not fix this one =(

    Thanks, I didn't see the spot. Was scanning the whole time near the cache. I could finish the quest now.

    @OrteganoStill not fixed few years later, i am on PS4 Pro.

    PS : there is a scannable data just before the destroyer on the right wall, but in the end of the corridor where the chest is, Sam always ask for scanning, but nothing can be scanned.. I regret when Bioware had time to developp and finish their games correctly, i mean before EA.

    If you're standing at the gravity well, facing the vault, as it were, there's a bunch of datapads to your left - you have to read all of them before it lets you finish.

    @Ortegano This link may help. Nor ours but it has a lot of info in it that shows you where they are. When I run through I always miss one or two even though I have done this multiple times.
