Bugs ME1!

Feros mission has a few bugs I have noticed.

1. Garrus just does not function about halfway through the mission. He stands still next to the Mako. I don't know what causes this.

2. If you walk into the elevator door going down, as you go to take care of the colonists, you just get stuck, unable to get out.

Other:

3. Not Feros, but if you walk into cover on certain door frames, your animation looks like this: picture attatched. I got this to happen on one of the side planet mission bunkers.

  • Don't know about the elevator problem but I have the bug with Garrus (nr 1), Truly annoying since as a vanguard, he is my go to and is usually in most of my missions along either Wrex or Tali. I've also had the estetic bug (nr3)

EDIT: Shutting down and restarting the game fixes the Garrus bug, but still annoying.

  • Companions not moving on Feros was common even in the original trilogy. Simply create a save, then do a hard restart of the game and reload the save and it will make Garrus move again (It happened to me with Wrex and Tali when I was doing the Feros side missions before clearing out the rest of the Geth in the colony)

Never had this issue before with ME1. Played it alot and not a single playthrough did a companion get stuck like this to my knowledge. It's weird. Thanks for the help though, Good to know it isn't permanent =)

A lot of these were in the original game also.

Not sure which it is, but in the original ME1, companions would tend to get stuck on the mako if you went around it too fast. Companions would try to walk through it and get stuck on it. It's a very OLD bug.

Also on Feros, companions would tend to just... STOP. They would just stand still and never move. If you placed a target marker that told them to go to a fixed location, they WOULD walk there... but wouldn't follow you at all. A save and re-load always fixed that.

Also in the original, Feros and Noveria both had an elevator bug. Game would tend to crash in elevators a LOT. Long ago I got used to hitting Quicksave right before using every elevator.

Never saw the "cover" bug before.
