Discussion Thread - Patch notes - Update April 6

Wow for me inplace of fixing the game it made it worse, can not even start it now just a black screen after the patch.

Going to reinstall the hole game but wow broke a game that was already broken.

Still no details for the singleplayer balance changes?

Some good work so far with this patch.

I'd really love to see more character face customization options though, such as choosing a particular style/shape of eyes, nose, and mouth, as well as different skin textures/complexions rather than having those options strictly limited by the "race" you choose.  I'd also really love to see more control over cheeks and jaw by adding a "size" adjustment to them in addition to the position adjustments, as this would add greater control over the final look of the facial skeletal and muscle structures for greater precision and variety.  Also, dynamic adjustments to character's parents (especially Alec) should more accurately reflect actual "race" choices for the twins, rather than making him appear as mixed race even when you choose the same base race for both twins.  I suspect that this might be partially due to the different race presets being in different preset slots for each twin, but even when mixed race is deliberate, the appearance of Alec Ryder appears to be mixed race but of different races than the ones chosen, and again I think this is due to the order of presets in the presets slots.

I also wouldn't object to more presets.

And while I'm at it...  I *love* the fact that the texture for the Ryders' eyeballs have been updated.  The new textures are a vast improvement and make them all look a lot less constantly surprised and amped on drugs.

Hilarious, this couldn't have come at a more perfect time, my bags was full when I logged out to go make some dinner, log back in afterwards and with the new inventory space I'm less than half full hehe xD

Well, wheel bug now happens just after I start a game. I really don't want to get all negative, but why a patch always has to break something. Something that I already was broken, thanks very much, so it's actually worse now? I can live with crazy eyes for a while longer. But when I don't have control over my convo choices, that's real game breaker...

Edit: new bug - after alt+tab(ing) I can't get back to full screen mode.... 

Oh btw, anyone know if they have fixed the Life Support consumable? O.o

I haven't had log in troubles, but this patch broke my graphics.  Everything was perfect before with how things looked now they look like * even when I put everything on ultras it seems off.  There are also various things I hate like the numbers they added to the chat wheels.  If they were smaller and less in your face then id probably be ok with them.  The chat options don't highlight the same anymore either and now there are weird loading shaders messages at load screens when my graphics were beautiful before.

So far the ONLY thing I like about this patch is the ability to skip past flight stuff from one location to another.

At this point im tempted to reinstall the game and then play it offline only without patching it if possible.

Even though I have researched levels I-V and have Advanced edition (levels VI-X) showing on my screen for various items, when I actually research an advanced level, it doesn't show up on the main research screen as my having done so.. 

Anyone know id this Patch fixed any of the software conflicts? Specically, the one with Corsair's CUE?
