I am having problem at the doors bypass panel. When activated, a number of blue dots appears. When I press the correct connection, the blue light is still on.
There is no way I can open an important door to progress.
Anyone here facing the same problem?
These are puzzling posts.
They should just require you to match pairs of matching symbols in any order.
You do a search on the net and it is full of complaints about Door Bypass puzzles. I wish I could mod the game to get rid of them.
That's the same problem with me. Quest to recruit the Warlord is not possible. Wonder if Origin awares of this bug?
I spent the whole evening on 3 quests. Only 1 completed and it was because it did not require a door bypass minigame. All others were stopped as soon as I hit the mini-game. If I knew up front which quests required a door bypass minigame to proceeded I would just skip them but I don't which makes for a frustrating evening.
I'm also a bit confused by this post.
Each blue dot covers a symbol. Briefly hover over (don't click) each dot to see what symbol is under it. After you see which symbols are under which dots, click on one of the dots. Then click on the other dot that has the same symbol under it. The dots will still be blue, but now the symbol under them will be shown permanently, and there will be a highlighted line between the dots. Then move to the next symbol pair. You can select the pairs in any order.
This is how it worked in the original game, and how it still works for me in the Legendary edition. If these are the steps that you're following, and still it's not working this way for you, then you have some sort of odd glitch going on; maybe with your input device -- not sure.
That is exactly what I am doing. I find pairs, click on both, and sometimes they will effect the right side of screen and sometimes not. I have been on two quests where I have tried it and the Bypass simply does not work.
PS. I play on a PC using a mouse.
Just went to help the thief at a party break into a room. I had plenty of time to go through all 4 of the items, find the pairs, click on each pair, and none of them worked. Another quest down the drain and cannot be completed.
I am going to try Mass Effect 3. I would like to bring my character forward but that is impossible now.
