EA App: "An error on our part caused your launch to fail"

PC/Windows 11. I was migrated off Origin to the EA App today.  Now MELE won't launch. I just get the message in the subject line.  

Unable to revert to Origin. 

Tried multiple reboots.

Updated drivers.

Tried repairing MELE.

No problem launching other Bioware games: DA:O, DAI, ME:Andromeda.

Any advice?

  • So I seem to have fixed this by switching off "Ruan as administrator" for MassEffectLauncher.exe.

  • @EA_Illium see when I look up MELE on EA app the app it doesn't have the dots like all my other games do and I have tried redownloading
