Eletania - Mass Effect 1 Trinket Not Activating

@EA_DavidI just ran into this problem and noticed others also ran into this problem. On the Planet Eletania where you encounter the Prothean Ruin and to use the Trinkett you got from the Asari Consor...

The thread you linked to on Reddit seemed like the person wasn't 100% sure they had received the trinket from Sha'ira before arriving on Eletania. I'm on Xbox and it worked for me at least.

I have gone through this quest 4 times on PC, and it has worked as it should every time.  The only time I got the posted screen, I had forgotten to go back to the Consort and pick up the trinket.
