Same thing here. Not very deep into the game yet but yup, huge FPS variance on these worlds. Memory leek? Or issues with LoD I suspect.
Disabling V-Sync definitely helped, but the stutter is still there; it's just a bit more bearable. I did notice that the stuttering was worse in the mountainous areas. Seemed to even out when traversing flat ground.
- @Choke_a_B same I have 2060 (original not super) and game was running butter smooth before the patch. after I am getting the exact same issue - cpu is around 25-30% and graphics running 95-100%
having the same issues with a Ryzen 3600, x570 mobo, 2070 Super, 32GB RAM. DXDiag attached
Same issue. GPU usage is 99% at 4K on a GTX 1660 on uncharted worlds with nothing on screen, 22fps. On Feros on the skyway in the mako, 60fps with 70% GPU usage.
Have to drop down to 1080 to get 60fps on these worlds, which is basically PS4 level performance.
Same issue here.
Windows 10
intel i7-9700K
Nvidia Geforce GTX 1070 Ti
WD Black HDD
Some random stuttering appears on planets, no visible causes.
Also, simultaneously, drawing distance seems to be dropping, as small terrain details appear only when riding on Mako.
I'm having the stutter issues as well when driving the Mako on uncharted worlds. My specs:
Intel Core i9 10900X
RTX 3090
64GB DDR4 RAM
Using M.2 NVMe SSD for main OS
1200w PSU
Windows 10 Pro 64-bit (build 21H1)
Latest Nvidia driver (466.47)
Here is my DXDiagSame here. Uncharted planets and Citadel are just horribly unoptimized. Have an RTX3070, and no way should it be struggling in those areas.
Huge problem when rendering rough terrain on planets. Nothing from EA support about the problems the patch caused?
Same issue, updated drivers. RTX 2070 and I9-9700K, 32GB RAM, 1TB Nvme Drive. 2k monitor @ 144hz
Performance is great everywhere except uncharted side quest planets. Severe drops in the FPS and the GPU spikes too 99 percent usage. Vsync is off Frames capped at 144. Seems like a memory leak or optimization issue. Graphics settings don't make a difference.
