Full Auto Weapons Freezing and Hanging in ME3

This is a recent problem, but all full auto weapons are hanging and freezxing causing serious gameplay issues.  It just hangs there and only fires one shot at a time or bursts but it is happening with assault rifles, mounted guns etc.  No settings were changed.  However Origin was updated and Citadel installed.  Any ideas?
