Well contrary to most other people here I've finished the "contagion" quest. But i've got the firefighters quest active and am at exactly the same stage as the guy who posted this first in this quest. I got to meet sid to start the "life on the frontier" quest. I've got to bring the kadara sample back to the nexus and the booze for the krogan lady and I've got to speak to sam about a memory. Thos are all my active quests on the nexus. I don't get a blackscreen the game just closes down to the desktop as if i've pressed Alt+F4 as soon as i get to about the point where the guard stands in front of the tunnel to the tempest. I've tried loading an older save. I've tried doing the Jaal loyalty mission first. I've tried entering and exiting the nexus and reentering. I've tried the repair function in Origin. I've tried restarting my PC. I took a closer look at my saves and the progress % seems to be going up and down randomly with a continuously rising character level, so it's not like i've loaded older saves a lot. I haven't got the deluxe edition, just the normal one. I'm over 50 hours into the game and more than just a little frustrated that i can't do anything on the nexus except running around in the tunnel between the door to my ship and the rest of the "docking area".
I have the issue.
I went back to an old save after this started when I tried to leave Nexus. At the time I had the firefighter done, and talked to Sid and Dunn, plus half way through the dock Captains mission.
So Iwent back to old saves after searching around internet and find out I was not alone. Found a save were I had not touch these missions, went to Eos and when I came back I cant get past the guard outside the tunnel from the tempus to docking area.
And now Im gonna stop playing, will not sink in more hours in a game that cant be played. Dunns mission is an important one.
And just try and error to se if its works is not a solution for me.
Bugs is in new games we get it. This is not a bug this is game breaking and for a AA title, this is just sloppy. have the alpha/beta testers not done their job or have the thos who should read their imput not done their job.
