Garrus and Kaidan conversations in ME1

I see Kaidan and Garrus still swallow some of their lines in private conversations. So many of them are but a murmur, easily outdone by the soft BGM and engine hum. It's fun upping the volume so I could hear them only to have Shepard practically scream his lines, not to mention going to the Galaxy map afterwards and the jump cutscene sound breaking my walls.

Any chance this could be remedied? Some basic volume level equalizing so it would at least be consistent with Shepard's?
