help needed: omega dlc crash - very specific location
crashing right after defeating cerberus in the area where turn off omega's defenses in control room.
steps tried (based on internet research and experience with other bugs in legendary edition games):
- launching directly from me3tweaks mod manager (not using LE launcher)
- change me3 priority in task manager to "high"
- turn off auto-level; not leveling aria or touching her loadout
yet to try (based on internet research and standard troubleshooting procedures):
- finish leviathan dlc before rendezvous with aria's fleet
- validate/repair game (play in vanilla mode)
- generally do other things in the game and come back to omega later
are there other steps i can try that are not listed here? thank you!
You can try to repair the game.
(Origin > Game Library > right click MELE > Repair)
(Steam > Game Library > right click at MELE > Properties > Local Files > Verify integrity of game files.)This however will purge all Mods that are installed.
I see no way around that because it has to be determined if a mod or a corrupt game file is the culprit.
