How to change email associated with PS3 gamer ID
I have changed email accounts. I need to change the old email address to the new one because my PS3 gamer Tag is still associated with the old email address. I want to use the new Mass Effect N7 HQ but it is sending the email to the old account and when I try to register a new account on EA it tells me my gamer tag already exists.
When you created your PSN ID on your PS3, you associated it with an e-mail address.
If you create a new account on your PS3, you can assign a new name, but it will need a new address and trophy info and other account accomplishments will be reset.
Under Account Management in the Network portion of the XMB, there may be a way to change your e-mail address. If not, ask Sony how to do that.
