How Would You Handle Having New Dialogue?
Greetings again people!
So this question isn't about the quality of dialogue. This is just about the technical handling of dialogue. Of course, plenty of us noticed that dialogue would still appear as grey despite there being new responses and that needs fixing...
But something else I think needs attention is knowing when there's new dialogue before you speak to an NPC. So much of my time is wasted initiating conversation with people that have nothing new to say or having to exit and re-enter a conversation to see new things they have to say (because it is locked into their greeting and no where else).
To me, the game would be better if:
1.) If I could know if someone had something new to say without initiating conversation...
2.) If I could hear everything they had to say during one initialized conversation rather than having to exit and start a conversation several times in a row to hear everything they had to say about what I've been up to.
If you agree with either of those things or both, what are some ideas/suggestions you guys have to improve this aspect of the game?
