I agree on that. Especially because the MW civilizations were "supported" by the mass effect relays and the leftovers/beacons from the Protheans.
I would love to see "new" life. Maybe some species that is not humanoid with no hair and ears. I mean why the hell is there no single alien race with hair or ears? BW could really think of some new species.
They could have created a plethora of things, but they went to the path of making talking beings. Why not another civilization with no sound language, trying to communicate only with lights or body language of sorts. Well, that's a question for the next episode of ... "Why not?"

I would love to see that!! Ok maybe it is difficult to make in a game...I don't know. But for me it seems kind of easy to make a species with 4 or 6 legs or floating aliens without feet at all...Ok I have no clue on game development, so maybe I am just naive :D
and there is an infinite number of "why not?"
