latest Andromeda news
In case you heard about the news about MEA canning the DLC, it's apparently a hoax. More info in the vid below... Good that Bioware brass finally said something. It's about time! https://www.yout...
I think there are two other possibilities why BioWare hasn't officially commented on this yet.
1. BioWare has a policy not to respond to rumors. (They stated this on their old forum.)
2. BioWare usually announces DLC a few days before release.
I think if BioWare started commenting on rumors, they would be more easily baited in the future to disclose things they're not ready to share yet.
Based on release dates of past BioWare titles, DLC should be announced sometime this month or possibly August. If they haven't announced anything by September, I think it's a safe bet it's not coming.

I think Early 2018 would be the point at which I will abandon hope for any DLC. It's entirely possible that BioWare is waiting on the number of units sold to reach a certain level before selling DLC. Considering that the game did not sell as well as expected and the reviews cast a cloud on the game - things need time to settle.
Lower prices on the game as it ages will get it in more hands and increase the potential success of DLC sales.
No matter what any non-official BioWare source says I will not believe that this game was not intended to have DLC content (or a sequel). Part of me believes that some DLC is already mostly finished and awaiting a launch window related to game sales.
There are too many loose ends.

Well, if you put a little research into this you will find that the game did not sell bad at all. Most of the gaming media reviews wasn't bad either, not enthusiastic but also not really bad.
For Jason Schreier (If you guys would speak German you would know why this is funny. 😉 ) and Kotaku, the fact that he is trolling members of the new BSN on twitter because they are critical towards him doesn't add credibility to his claims.
In the end all this is pointless.
BW will make an announcement about the future of Mass Effect and Andromeda at some point. Everything else is just speculation without any factual value.
News on MP and Batarians
Just found this, it explains how the batarians got to Andromeda:

Well it could be worse 🙂 Like, you know, they could've arrived on the Quarian ark or something ^^
(don't misunderstand, still hoping!)

Now that's lame....but it's mp side of things, so who cares if the lore is bonkers.
Personally I couldn't care less about MP.

yup. Shepard clone incoming....
Would have preferred them to be the goon squad of the Benefactor, rather than teaming up with the salarians...
Well as far as the "plot" of them getting to Andromeda; While its a bit sucky, its "legit". Simply because Alec did stick his wife in cryo-storage without anyone knowing. But it should have a datapad or something added to the SP to indicate their presence after the Ark is found. Just for internal consistency in the plot.
But it does note there are two Batarians. So we will likely see another one as another class at some point. Plus the Kishook (sp?) Harpoon gun was a favorite of mines in ME3. It was almost fire and forget, such was the DoT effect.
However I do not see any word on fixing the Reager. The game slowdowns caused by a Reager user are extreme, and its highly detrimental to the gameplay. I personally cannot justify using it because of the problems with it. And that's a shame because its a great weapon in the right hands.

The Reegar was fixed.
They claimed it in the twitch stream as one part of undocumented fixes for issues only a small portion of players encounter (in this case PC players with a special set-up).
My initial testing didn't reveal any stuttering so far, but I need more matches with it to be sure.

Yeah I concur, seems fine now on my end. I did not see the stream so only had the patch notes to go on. I wish they would document bug fixes properly in the patch notes.

Yes, after some heavy electrocuting with the Reegar I also think it is save to say it is fixed and by that can be used again. No more kicking players out of the lobby, thanks for your patience!
I also updated my post in bug reports to 'fixed' status.
It also looks like the score board bug from 1.08 was fixed as well (final screen score did not add points of the medals for some reason ...), which is also not documented.
EDIT: not sure about the scores though. In all the games I intended to check score table at beginning of Wave 7 in game I simply forgot it...
Need to make a post-it on my screen ...
So they announced a "Drack Limited Edition Litograph" on twitter
https://twitter.com/masseffect/status/884464773491851264
https://www.biowarestore.com/art/drack-lithograph
As I was going over the preview images I noticed this:
Is that Khi Tasira? If not, what the heck is it and what's it doing in whatever planet's orbit?? XD
Maybe I'm reading too much into it but I think they're teasing future stuff.
Edit: upon closer inspection I think it's Meridian in the background, and is showing more reawakened Remnant activity (at least, I don't remember these objects from the campaign)
Another example, with Vetra this time:

With the Tempest moving away from Meridian. Again I'm probably reading too much into this but I'm starting to think that we'll get to see what happens a couple months after the ending.
#MassEffectNerdAlert ^^
Interesting. That sure sounds like the sort of advertising and promotion that a game still has if they are trying to make money off of it.
The man is back... Hope he does some good to bioware and the ME franchise. News below.
Not an article per se, so not exactly "news," but here are some fan questions Ian Frazier answered on BSN

Bioware are going to milk the game as long as they can
More on Casey Hudson's return and what it means for Mass Effect...
