Map directional markers offset to the right by 45 degrees at all times
When using the map in Mass Effect Legendary Edition on PC (the first game), the directional markers on the map are offset by 45° at all times. I am aware they do not change based off the direction your camera is looking and are based on the direction your character is facing/moving, but they are offset at all times. I’ve tried reloading a save in case something in the save file was effecting them, but it did not change anything.
Having played the original version of Mass Effect 1 on both PC and Xbox, as well as ME 2 and 3, I am well aware of how the directional indicators should look and move. I have even booted up the original version of the game on the same PC (through GamePass/EA Play) and the directional indicators are fine on that version. It is only in the Legendary Edition, evidently. It’s a bit annoying, to tell the truth. Not a major inconvenience, but definitely still an annoyance.
It is likely that there is no “fix” I can do to correct it and it’s just an aggravating bug I will have to live with, but if anyone has any insight I would greatly appreciate it.
I should note that in the attached image (if it succeeds in uploading here) I am definitely facing north, yet the markers show I am facing northeast.
