Mass Effect 1 final battle geth dropship health not going down

I'm on SOOO many levels of pissed off right now.  Not only did I have to redo 5 hours of the start of the game because of a glitch that made a cut scene not play, not I can't beat the game after doze...

The Geth dropship is indestructible, it however should fly away if you do enough damage to it. 

Do you use any mods?
