If I remember correctly (its been a while) you need to use the arrow keys (up, down, left & right); if you're using an Xbox style game controller it may disable the keyboard.
Thanks for getting back. I have tried the arrow keys in hundreds of combinations. Nothing on the code cypher screen indicates letters just colored concentric wrings I have learned in the forums that the code to input is AXB. Can you tell me what arrow key is assigned what letter. At this point in Mass Effect I am trapped in the mines trying to rescue Liara because there is no escape from the mine
unless the correct code is entered. Please help, I do realy like this game.

Hi, trinityfly! If you're on the PC, you use the movement keys (W, A,S, and D by default) to input the code at the mining laser. The "A X B Y" code you read about is for XBox. On PC, you need to hit the down, right, up, down, right (or S, D, W, S, D) keys. Hope that helps!
Hi, tried "down,right,up,down,right". Then I tried "(S,D,W,S,D)" Nope tried and tried. I can not figure out what I am doing wrong. Still Stuck. Any help is deeply appreciated.
