Hello hope you can help.
I got Mass Effect 2 a few days ago and it was working fine until the game crashed (I was on the arcangel misson) Then i restarted my laptop and started the game up it was fine until i got to the title screen i pressed the any key and it went black and says mass effect 2 has stop working.
Laptop spcs:
Processor: AMD A10-4600M APU with Radeon HD Graphics 2.30 GHz
RAM: 6.00 GB
64 BIT WINDOWS 8
Community AdminHi, please try repairing the install and see if the issue persists. On Origin right click the game panel and choose Repair Install. If you're using Steam, then open your Library, right click, choose Properties, then the Local Files tab, and Verify Integrity of Game Cache.
Another possibility is your video drivers going a bit wonky, perhaps updating them will help to get back on track.
Community AdminThanks for the extra detail. For the next step I'll ask for a report from the Reliability Monitor, which might shed more light on what's happening. Open the search bar and type the following: view reliability history
In the tool that appears, look for a red x that matches the most recent ME2 crash, double click on the report and please post up the info that appears.

Community AdminI see, thank you. I still think it may be to do with updates. Please try running Windows Update, and ensure that you also include the optional .NET updates.
So far, your Vital Specs don't necessarily support that your system exceeds the minimum requirements, which in your case, means that the EXACT series of GPU cores included in the APU are required. MOST AMD video cores in most APUs are inadequate for this game.
