Mass Effect 2 problem
Hi, so I bought a standard disc copy of Mass Effect 2 for PC on Amazon. I did not buy it from origin. So I installed the game as normal and everything was fine. I then installed all the various dlc I had bought for the game a while ago. My first problem arose when I launched the game. It ran fine but when it came to the part saying you must enter your code to activate cerberus network was when things went wrong. I clicked continue and then it said please wait and so I waited. I could still move the mouse cursor about so I assumed that the game was just taking its time. I went downstairs and had dinner. Half an hour later I came back up and it was still on the same screen saying please wait. I assumed it was something to do with the Dlc being unregistered with this new copy or something. So I exited the game and deleted the dlc files. I ran the game again but the same thing happened. I waited about 10 minutes that time. I then thought maybe I should uninstall and reinstall the game. So I did I uninstalled it in the normal way. Now I tried to get on to the auto run where you can install the game, it has a picture of Thane Crios on it. However when I clicked, from my computer, on the mass effect 2 icon it simply says. The following file could not be found Masseffect2launcer exe. . I dont care about the long loading screen anymore, I just want to be able to install my game.
If this problem can't be fixed here could someone please notify me of a place that could fix it.
