Mass Effect 3: Citidel DLC - car lot door bug

The only bug I've encountered in the remaster is this darn car lot door. it simply will not open and play the cutscene after you do open the door. instead, I'm just T-possing around the ally and nothing else happens.

Steps I've taken to try to resolve this:

- restarted level

-restarted from Normandy

-tried to save then reload from the door (results in spamming space to open the door and make the door icon turn white)

It would appear this bug is only happening to me for I cannot find any post that has brought this up before.
