Randomly when I'm in menus (shops, email, weapon modification, squad menu) in Mass effect 3 the game will freeze up and stop responding and I'm forced to close it manually.
I've tried just about everything short of uninstalling the game.
My specs:
Windows 7
Intel i5-3470
12gb ram
Nvidia GTX 760 (most resent drivers)
I should mention I've only had this happen in single player

I have same problem within game, in addition have strong problems with joining to lounge and freezing game in progress. This one persist today (09-06-15). Connections checked OK, (so, I write this message and inet stays up). Appears as scripting mess.
Today game not returning to lounge or MP menu after match, otherwise returning to main menu - who knows what?
Hey there; I may have a solution for PC users!
I was having this problem as well; the game would freeze randomly on menus, like the shop screens, character customization, multiplayer character selection, etc.
I found that disabling "Origin in-game" fixes this issue... or, well, my game hasn't frozen anymore after that.
I recommend trying this out, if anyone still faces the issue.
You can disable Origin in-game by right clicking on your ME3 in the game library, choosing "game properties", and checking the "disable Origin in-game" option. Then just boot the game up, and see if it works. 🙂
