Mass Effect 3 Legendary Edtion Black Screen after Priority Tuchanka
Hello, I am currently playing Mass Effect 3 (legendary Edition) and finished Priority Tuchanka. After curing the genophage and getting the regular cut scenes i get to where i speak to Hackett about my progress and as soon as he says "hackett out" and the cut scene is supposed to end with me in front of the comm the screen goes to infinite black screen, but I can pull up my ship map with the "m" key and that about it.
I have looked over several different workarounds and nothing worked. let me just list them so I don't waste anyone's time with suggestions.
1. my drivers are up to date on my computer
2. ive tried it in windowed and full screen mode (even on the lowest graphics quality to see if that would help)
3. I have loaded a previous save that was two hours behind my current playthrough and tried again (issue persists)
4. Restarted the game, same thing
5 Unjnstalled and reinstalled the game, same thing
6. Restarted my computer, same thing
7. Yes I use mods but they are mostly cosmetic mods and the happy ending mod for later in the game and extended citadel dlc mod. I do not have Extended galaxy map or anything like that.
8. Tried editing my save in the save editor, same thing
9. Yes, I even changed my characters hair and armor and casual clothes to be default ones to see if that was the issue, same thing
10. Validated files on steam, said some could not be validated but I do not know how to repair them
As soon as someone tells me what I need to do to fix the non validated files I will and report back, and if that doesn't work I don't know what else to do to try and fix this. Does anyone have any other suggestions on how to resolve this issue. I am pretty much at my wit's end with this and ready to just give up on the game since I can't play it anymore. I went through the entire other two games without a single issue from my mods. Just right here.
