Mass effect 3 on origin

ok i wanted to buy me3 on origin, but im really confused about the digital editions.

what is the freaking difference between buying mass effect 3 standard and then upgrade to deluxe edition (cheaper) and buying mass effect 3 deluxe edition ?

i checked the store page for both the upgrade and the deluxe edition and i noticed that the deluxe edition has 2 more dlcs;

"Squadmate Alternate Outfit Pack – New appearances for your favorite squad members."

"• Display your initiation in the N7 ranks with a collection of forum and social badges, avatars, and perks."

so in that case, "upgrade to deluxe edition" isnt the actual deluxe edition, since its missing content that the actual deluxe edition has ?

and another question, how do i buy dlcs for mass effect? origin store doesnt have any dlcs...

    It doesn't have all the DLC available, just the stuff from Launch that was listed,  From Ashes comes with it, the extra costumes, some armor and weapons, and a digital comic book and soundtrack.  Leviathan and Omega don't come with it, and I imagine one or two of the weapon packs aren't included.  Most of the in-game gear you can unlock with GIbbed editor fairly easily if you are so inclined, so the base game can be spiced up a bit.  But yeah, I would say the upgrade seems to make it the same as the digital deluxe edition.

    I can only speak from my own experience, having purchased the basic program a few years ago and then purchasing the digital deluxe upgrade.  And my advice is don't do it.  I am a big fan of multiplayer, have been since the beginning, and "upgrading" cancelled my Online Pass for some reason. After hours of waiting and chatting with the "help" line, all I get is patronized and wrong information for the last 3 weeks.

    It's a great game, buy the version you want on Origin, but do all of the DLC in-game through the BioWare utility.  The digital deluxe upgrade did have the Squadmate Alternate Outfit Pack too, but I never checked on  forum/badges/avatars/perks stuff.  But for me, losing my multiplayer capacity far outweighed any fun from new outfits and the (very short) Ashes mission.  It is a bit of a pain to go and purchase BioWare points, then redeem them for the goodies, and I always seem to have leftover points in my account afterwards, but it is preferrable to monkeying around with Origin--unless you enjoy enormously laggy chat to an Indian help desk, false promises, and misinformation.
