Mass Effect Amdromeda Won't Launch

This issue has been occurring ever since the latest patch. The first time I go and launch the game the play button grays out for a few seconds before going to normal and the game never launches. The game doesn't seem to be running in the background according to the task manager. The second and any following times I try and boot the game I get a 0xc0000005 error that only seems to be solved by restarting my computer. I've tried a bunch of things I've seen in other posts such as repairing the game, re-downloading the Visual C++ Redistributable 2015, running the launcher as administrator, going into offline mode, etc. Any help would be appreciated.

Specs:

(Running the Deluxe Edition of the game if that matters)

Operating System: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit (6.1, Build 7601) Service Pack 1 (7601.win7sp1_ldr.170209-0600)

Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-2500 CPU @ 3.30GHz (4 CPUs), ~3.3GHz

Memory: 8192MB RAM

Card name: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970

I would try doing a repair scan of all the files, just incase something there borked when you downloaded the patch.

  • I've already tried repairing the game but I'll try again.

I've been to that thread and tried those solutions to no avail. I did post this in a technical issues forum but it got moved for some reason.

Try right-clicking on the MassEffectAndromeda.exe, click the Compatibility tab and select "Run this program as an administrator." I have this problem with a LOT of games on Windows 10 that expect elevated local admin permissions by default and don't get them without this set.
