Mass Effect Legendary Edition ME1 and ME2 Crash on Startup

Both ME1 and ME2 won't launch from my  Mass Effect Legendary Edition on Origin (I've also tried on Steam).  I've played many hours of both games and now all of the sudden, both games refuse to lau...

    This did not seem to work for me, but I do believe I did find the problem. 

    My NVIDIA 3D Settings were all messed up and the big one that seemed to fix it was the "DSR Factors" setting. It was set on 4x (3840x2160) and that was causing not only ME to crash but a few of my other games as well. I switched it to "Off" and now my game works like a charm.

  • Downloade and install the "Microsoft DirectX® End-User Runtime" directly from Microsoft.
  • After the installation is finished, restart your PC. (A real "Restart" don't just shut down and start again.)
  • Test.
