I would assume the Legendary Edition was made because the community asked for it, for years and over and over again.
Also of course because it seemed profitable.
This this is the point, these are companies with hundreds and hundreds of employees, they need to make profit.
That is just a fact of life, you can call it "cash grab" or greedy but it remains what it is, capitalism.
Unfortunately, afaik, we don't have a better system on this planet. 😉
Bioware has also clarified that it is a remaster, not a remake, and that there would be no changes to the storyline.
Everyone can decide whether they want to spend money on it under this circumstances or stick with the original games.
Are there bugs? Old and new ones? Yes, and that is also just Inevitable.
The MELE is just 4 weeks out now, give them time to fix the bugs, if they do it is fine, If not, you have every right to complain.

@holger1405 They took the time to fix a ton of issues from ME 1-2 mostly regarding bigged conversations, so why they didn't bothered to do that for the third game which is infamous for them? Thanks for the tag @EA_David.
