My game will not save. It always posts an error message when it's trying to auto or manually save. I even bought the game through Steam AND the EA Launcher because I wanted to play it so badly. I "enabled" every permission I can. I have run it as an administrator. If I can't fix this, does anyone know how to get a refund for a non-playable game?
Do you have OneDrive running by any chance? That can sometimes cause conflicts, so see if turning that off fixes it.
As for refunds: If you bought the game through Steam, you have to go through their automated refund system. More info here: https://store.steampowered.com/steam_refunds

I am curious about your issue though. Can you provide me more info on what happens wen you try to save that it won't let you? Can you provide a video of this?
Typically when it won't let you, you are in an area, mission, or in combat that the game won't let you, so saying it won't save in general is interesting.

I attached a file. "A problem occurred while saving the game. No game session data was preserved. Please Try Again. " This occurred during every manual attempt or "checkpoint" in which the game tries to auto save. I have also run a "repair". and it also doesn't seem to be a onedrive issue.
What is the exact path to your Mass Effect Legendary "Save" folder?
Make sure "Controlled Folder Access" is turned off > Restart the PC > Test
