ME 2: LE on PS4 Cannot Manually Save/Load with Imported Character

Question

I have the Mass Effect Legendary Edition on Playstation 4 and I've finished ME 1 and wanted to import my character into ME 2. When I load ME 2, I have the option to import my ME 1 character like normal. However, after going through the prologue and reaching the point where Shepard wakes up in Project Lazarus, I run into an issue saving the game.

When I pause and select Save, the normal save page appears and I'm able to click Create New Save. The usual message in the lower-left corner states that the game is saving. However, when I go to the Load screen, there are no saves at all. Not the manual save, auto saves, or mission saves. This issue only appears to affect imported characters, as I was able to create a new Shepard and manually save without issue (the Load screen also showed auto saves and the mission save).

Weirdly, it seems the saves do exist, because in the game launcher, there is an option to Resume under the Start option for ME 2, and I will load at the place of my last save (both auto and manual), it's just that I can't access them from the load menu both in-game and in the ME 2 launcher. I've found the save files in the ME: LE under application data, but there is only ever a single manual save (Save 001) no matter how many times I save in the game.

For hours I've tried several things to fix this, including:

Reinstalling the game.
Deleting some ME 1 saves (I maxed out saves in ME 1, though I know it shouldn't impact the number of saves for ME 2). I kept maybe 10 saves from ME 1, including the ones right before the end of the game.
Deleting all stored data from ME 2.
Deleting all stored data pertaining to game launcher and other data that were not manual saves.
Deleting the final auto save in ME 1 and replaying the ending to generate a new save to import from. After I did this I had two saves I could import from for the same character.
Calling upon the lords of darkness to grant me the ability to manually save (I left a voicemail, apparently they were backlogged on blood rituals; wait times were 1 - 3 millennia).

Anybody know what the frell is happening and how to fix it? I'd really like to avoid creating an all-together new character or replaying ME 1 if at all possible.

The saves that will be loaded from ME1 into ME2 will be in the "Char" folder.

Thanks for the quick reply, sundance31us. However, I'm playing the game on Playstation 4, so the files are different. I've included images of my save data viewed through the system storage for ME: LE. Anyone know how to fix this inability to manually load/save on Playstation 4?
