ME 3 Legendary Edition Normandy map bug

The Normandy in ME3 LE still has the old vanilla game bug, when large portions of the hull is missing in the reactor zone and hangar which results in graphical issues.

To see it for yourself just enter the reactor core, turn around and look upwards. You will be able to see the space and stars through the missing hull plating.

Another similar  issue is present in the hangar. Go to the far side of the hangar towards to airlock door, then turn around and look at the shuttle where Cortez is standing. You will notice graphical artifacts from the missing hull.

This sounds like Textures are not properly loaded.

If you on a PC  try to repair the game.

(Origin > Game Library > right click MELE > Repair / in Steam > right click at MEA > Properties > Local Files > Verify integrity of game cache)

I'm afraid I was not clear. The issue is a level design bug, not the game runability issue. It is present in both original Mass Effect 3 and ME3 Legendary Edition, on all platforms.

There are simply some parts of the map missing. I am attaching screensots. it is easy enough to verify, just visit the same spots and see for yourself.

You can compare to ME2 reactor room, to see how it was supposed to look like.

  • They didn't make any changes to the levels in ME2 or ME3 (or really fix any content bugs at all).

You can probably still get out of bounds on the bed too.
