ME Andromeda 2 not found

Sorry for confusing title but since is a  place for complain I have to make it sounds like one.

And here's my my two cents worth

I purchase the game while on sale for £10 because so many bad reviews and hate campaign. I think I paid a wrong price since the game is way better than ever was described. I can say that much after over 400 hours of playing it: I didn't found any bugs or game crashing situation. Even more, I enjoy the new approach toward magic (biotic, combat and tech power use) and RPG elements like crafting, upgrading, exploration, side missions which somehow looks and feels like main story (thanks for that), small chat between squad members, puzzles in every right places and so may other good stuff which overall makes Andromeda as a good step forward in Mass Effect universe.

Of course I play the game at 30 FPS (capped by video card's cp) mostly because I am aware about the technical nightmare which represent a high framerate RPG. Also I hate (yes, this is a hate post  😬 ) the brainwash campaign run by nvidia to justify selling unoptimized "almost ready" GPU (RTX series). So, at constant 30FPS including reshade post process I enjoy the game as intended and kind of feel bad for paying low price.

Now, isn't 4 years enough cliffhanger? I hope EA didn't abandon the project or change their mind if they did.

So, is Shadowbroker infiltrate the next batch of arcs? Can I play as out of control AI taking over drell pathfinder's body to bring stability and join nexus? And since no one talks about AI reproduction system is it that new AI will merge with Rider's one to prepare the road of defeating Kett? You know what? don't tell me. I prefer to see by myself what happens in Andromeda 2.

Thanks for the game, in my side is well appreciated.

Cheers

I fully agree with you that Andromeda is a much better game than the shit storm at release gives it credit fore.

It's a real shame that the reaction at release pretty much killed the game, and now we have a lot of open ends.

I'm not entirely sure what you mean by unoptimized RTX series, I played the game on my 2070 Super and now on my 3080 without any problems.

@holger1405Changed "unoptimized" with "almost ready" since RTX class is still subject of fixes via drivers compared to GTX series. Sorry, can't find better words regarding RTX drivers as nvidia didn't got to the point "that's the best you can get and there's nothing more to be done".

Accepted solution by mistake (I was killing a mosquito and accidental click on the button). Sorry

    NP. I deleted the solution.
You should be able to do that as well by clicking the three dots > Not the solution.
(Of course only for your own solutions.)

    Vor NVIDIA.

I see, but that is nothing new. I vor example got driver and VBIOS updates for my GTX 1070 in regards to overclocking stability with Micron RAM as well, while the 2070 and the 3080 where OC stable out of the Box. For the 3080 even before the first driver fix.

@holger1405 For what counts, I really hope I'm wrong regarding RTX series.
And you're right I can use a "not a solution" - didn't know about that.

I had pretty good performance. Didn't cap the framerate and looked fine with AMD Freesync on my monitor. I play 1080p though. Not higher. (an ol' Vega 56 - really heats up the room)

Had a few hangs in the AVP and R&D screens and I noticed some missing stuff here and there, with some locations not clearing or not having chests so they could be marked clear.
And the Old Skinner mission. I killed the architect on Kadara with an augmented inferno rifle that had ricochet and beam conversion and somehow it didn't register as killed, even  though I was able to tie up the mission practically, just not on paper. Even showed up in the atmosphere and I got xp from the scan in orbit. lol

Other than that, had a couple interaction or mission triggers not happen right the first time with minor things, just had to leave and come back. And there were a bunch of misterious mission objectives on Voeld that were dead ends but on the map, until I found the right triggers to start them. Again nothing major at all.

Also being locked out of all the remnant data cores if not discovered on first occasion was a bit sad, but it was just xp anyway.

That said, I really appreciated the amount of work the dev. team was able to squeeze into the game, new engine grief and all.

Never touched the Apex part of the game though. Didn't really need ultimate max equipment anyway. Level VIII was plenty.

@Gan_XodosThe reason for capping FPS is to save some resources for new situations like a dialog between party members, missions updates and other things. Uncapped the game engine will make use of most of the resources (do not mistake game resources with windows resources) and most of what problems you encounter could be avoided by capping the FPS for a 15-20 lower than what you get uncapped. It won't make any visual difference but it will help in terms of scripts running (perfect test would be accessing R&D station).
Apex affects the gameplay only by reward, the xp goes for apex team not to Ryder. That is like a gateway between single player and multiplayer and I only use it for extra research data and credits.

I think they can drum up excitement for Andromeda in ME4. They at least refer to an ark departing.

I think crossing over between Andromeda and Milky Way could be easy if they adopt faster FTL drives or relays. I mean, it probably doesn't take the most advanced ETs in the real universe 400 years to jump between galaxies. 🙂

Well, Michael Gamble said that the opening shot of the trailer, showing the Andromeda galaxy, was "intentional", whatever that means. 😉
