ME1 audio issue - dialog & sfx in surrounds instead of center

Mass Effect 1 dialog and sfx audio is coming from the rear/surround speakers instead of the center channel, meaning that conversations, weapons fire etc are all coming from behind the player instead...

This is so depressing that we haven't  even gotten an acknowledgement from EA and/or the media.

Hasn't anyone from IGN, Kotaku, Polygon, etc have access to surround sound setups? Please report on this and make EA get into gear.

    @HeartagramLove I just tried to give it a go and straight away dialogue out of rear speakers just not on really. Should have been sorted. Might seem silly to some people but I pay £55.00 I’d like what is advertised. Has Dolby/DTS on the disc should work correctly.
